ROCHESTER,NY- Only RochesterWorks! provides a unique set of customized services to businesses and job seekers at little-to-no cost, preparing a skilled workforce and connecting them with opportunities in our region. On May 6th 2019, RochesterWorks! St. Paul Career Center was honored by Cheryl Dinolfo, Monroe County Executive, who praised the center on their dedication to seeing their customers succeed.
"RochesterWorks! St. Paul Street Career Center share several unique partnerships with Monroe County, all focused on increasing the education & skills-training opportunities for our current workforce." Dinolfo Said. "The St. Paul Career Center administers several successful programs, all which cater to the most vulnerable & disadvantaged career seekers."
St. Paul Location offers a "Work Experience Program" for clients to increase confidence in their ability to work as well as provide them with present work related experiences. Its a year long internship that gives individuals an opportunity to be productive citizens within the community. It also gives an opportunity for the organizations to mentor, train and/or identify potential candidates for hire based on their work habits, communication skills and their motivation to achieve.
"This honor is in direct reflection to all the hard work that goes into preparing our customers and getting them to the job fairs," said Kathy Ziegler, St. Paul Street Career Center Manager.
