Current Grant Opportunities
RochesterWorks! offers grants to help qualified businesses and organizations in Monroe County implement training programs and offset operating expenses.
Due to the overwhelming success of this program, all funds for it have been allocated. At the present time, we are not approving any more applications. Future funding will be based on reconciliation of current obligations. Any changes will be posted on this website. Thanks for your interest in the Finger Lakes Wired Scholarship program.
Businesses in the following industries may apply for up to $25,000 in funding: Advanced Manufacturing, Alternative Energy, Bio/Life Sciences, Business Services, Engineering, Food & Agriculture, Health Care (including not-for-profit Health Care organizations), Information Technology, and Optics/Imaging.

The Workforce Investment Board of Monroe County/Rochester has made available Federal grant funds to small and medium sized businesses in Monroe County to address employer demands for skilled workers and upgrade the skills of their employees earning between $8.00 and $25.00 per hour. Organizations may request up to $10,000 per application, for training that can be completed within six (6) months.
