INSPIRING OUR COMMUNITY TODAY, TOMORROW AND ALWAYS
October 13 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Message from Mayor Lovely Warren:
Each day, I receive numerous calls from residents asking for assistance on a variety of matters, such as how to better advocate for their children, manage their finances, or even how to successfully navigate friendships and community relationships.
That is why I am hosting the Inspiring Our Community: Today, tomorrow and always conference — to connect you to service providers from the private sector, city and county government, and other agencies to help equip you with the knowledge and resources to empower you.
There are 300 seats available: 150 for men and 150 for women. The Conference will include a number of workshops that will provide you with useful information to help you successfully navigate some of the life situations you encounter. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You can see a list of the workshops being offered below. Then click one of the buttons below to get to the right information and registration page! You can also register at CIty Hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Communications Bureau, Special Events, Room 203A.

Who You Surround Yourself With Is Who You Are: You’ve heard the phrase great minds think alike? The same can be said for who you surround yourself with. If you are trying to reach your life and career goals, it’s important for you to be surrounded with like-minded individuals. Learn how you can discover the characteristics you should look for in your friendships and relationships.
