Career Readiness Credential

About the Career Readiness Credential
The WorkKeys's® Career Readiness Credential (CRC) is an assessment-based credential that gives employers and career seekers a uniform measure of key workplace skills.
The CRC helps employers by certifying that a recipient possesses core skills in applied math, reading for information, and locating information — skills that are required by at least 85% of all jobs profiled by ACT™ WorkKeys in the country.

The Credential is based on established WorkKeys® assessment tests developed by ACT™, an international leader in educational assessment and workforce development services, and measures skills in a workplace context.
WorkKeys® is a nationally recognized comprehensive skills assessment tool used by thousands of companies in the U.S. and by state and federal agencies. To earn a Career Readiness Credential, individuals undergo testing related to reading, applied math, and locating information through the WorkKeys skills assessment system.
