Christina Bakewicz has been appointed Business Service Manager for RochesterWorks!, the region’s largest employment and training initiative.

RochesterWorks! operates two career centers and administers funds for employment and training services.

Bakewicz, who has more than ten years experience in
workforce development, outreach and program management, joined RochesterWorks! in 2006 as Business Services Representative and was appointed Business
Services Coordinator in 2007.

In her new position Bakewicz is responsible for developing and implementing a range of innovative programs and services that serve the recruiting and training needs of area businesses. She also works with RochesterWorks! partners, government, education and training providers to meet the workforce development needs of local employers.

Bakewicz holds a BS from Nazareth College and an MBA from the University of
Phoenix. She lives in Irondequoit.
