- Learn to identify different types of behavioral styles
- Practice communicating difficult messages
- Understand how they can communicate to gain respect and credibility

Hiring Your Next Superstar
Presented by: Annie Walker
Friday, April 25th, 2008
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
$50 per person
Today’s work environment has changed drastically and it’s sometimes hard to know what is needed to hire the ideal candidate for your organization. It’s not just a matter of finding a person with the right skills and experience for the job but also one that will fit into your company’s vision and culture. We’ll take a global look at the hiring process itself and some of the pitfalls that may cause a potential Superstar to decide not to pursue a position. We’ll focus on establishing a well-rounded strategy that will enable you to hire people who will not only do the job and do it well but will be an integral part of your company goals now and in the future.
Objectives:
- Have an overall understanding of the interview process and the role the interviewer plays.
- Look at the different communication styles that you will encounter and role play how to use that knowledge to communicate effectively with a potential candidate.
- Recognize the importance of paying attention to how the candidate will fit (or not) into the company culture.
- Know the top five things that employees want
