The City of Rochester today announced that Flower City AmeriCorps has begun its recruitment initiative for the 2019 program year. Flower City AmeriCorps offers year-long apprenticeships in the field of Human Services to men and woman ages 18 years and above. Members will embark on hands-on apprenticeships at local nonprofits or government agencies and will receive mentorship and training in one of these specialized service areas: community building, economic opportunity, health and wellness or positive youth development.
