As a nonprofit workforce and employment services provider, we’re dedicated to offering programs, services, and events for every age and every stage of your career. Use the links below to explore everything we have to offer at our four career centers throughout the City of Rochester.

Youth Services

The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) provides youth ages 14-20 with six weeks of paid work experience through work sites and programs all across Monroe County.

Our Youth Career Center location serves youth ages 14-24 as a comprehensive service center. This is the headquarters for RochesterWorks youth programming.

Young adults ages 14-20 earn a paycheck during the school year and learn about exciting career opportunities that await you!

Teens and young adults who are enrolled in grades 9-12 at either Edison Career & Technology High School or Joseph C. Wilson High School are currently eligible.

Free services for teens and young adults ages 17 to 24 in Rochester and Monroe County who are not currently enrolled in school.

Adult Services

If you’re a job seeker feeling stuck in your job search or an employer stalling out on how to recruit and retain qualified workers, the RochesterWorks Shift Program gives you the tools to shift forward with confidence. Join us for an information session to learn more about moving from surviving to thriving in your workplace!

RochesterWorks offers up to $6,000—via WIOA—for Monroe County residents or dislocated workers pursuing in-demand training.

RochesterWorks supports job seekers with disabilities—providing tailored accommodations, coaching, and employer outreach.”

RochesterWorks’ Enhanced Recovery Services helps adults in substance‑use/mental‑health recovery earn credentials, internships & jobs.

RochesterWorks hosts 60–90 min interactive workshops on job readiness, career exploration, self‑employment & more.

RochesterWorks’ online training offers 24/7 self-paced courses and live Zoom workshops for career development.
