We encourage you to create an account, but it is not required. By creating an account, you will have the ability to; store your cover letter(s), resume(s), save jobs to your profile, as well as create search agents, tailored to your interests..
Yes. The Job Board is a separate website and is not connected to the NYS Job Zone page. If you’d like to upload your resume to the Job Board, you will need to create a new account.
No. The Job Board is a separate website and is not connected to your NY.GOV ID. You will need to create a separate account username and password for the Job Board.
No. All account and resume information you enter into the Job Board will only visible to RochesterWorks! staff.
Not a problem. Your username is the email address you used to create the account. Your password can be retrieved by visiting the login page here http://jobboard.rochesterworks.org/login.php clicking on the “Forgot Your Password?” link, underneath the blue “Log In” button. From there you’ll be taken to a new screen and asked to enter your email address. Once you enter your email address and click the “Confirm” button, an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to reset your password
No. The Job Board is accessible to RochesterWorks! customers and the general public. Anyone can view, search and apply for jobs listed through the Job Board.
All jobs listed in the Job Board are submitted to RochesterWorks! by local employers for posting. While some postings listed may also be posted on other sites including company webpages, Indeed, Craigslist, etc. Jobs from those pages are not automatically included on the Job Board.
