About Disability Resources & Services
The Disability Resources and Services Program is the go-to for employers and job seekers in accessing disability resources. Funded through the NY Systems Change and Inclusive Opportunities Network (SCION) program, the RochesterWorks’ Disability Resource Coordinator and Disability Services Advisor aim to increase the capacity of the One-Stop workforce system to serve individuals with disabilities.

What Can a Disability Resource Coordinator (DRC) Help You With?
At RochesterWorks, our Disability Resource Coordinator (DRC) supports job seekers with disabilities by offering:
- Accommodations to fully participate in RochesterWorks services
- Guidance on how to use our services effectively — including workshops, job search assistance, access to computers, and hiring events
- Connections to disability community resources that support your employment goals
- Information on disability disclosure and how it relates to employment
- Support in understanding how work may affect SSDI/SSI or Medicaid/Medicare benefits
In addition, RochesterWorks has a Disability Services Advisor on staff who can provide extra support and guidance tailored to your individual needs.

What Is The Ticket To Work Program?
The Ticket to Work Program is a free and voluntary program from the Social Security Administration that helps people with disabilities prepare for and find employment, while protecting access to benefits during the transition to work.
