Coating Technology, Inc., is a rapidly growing plating company serving the commercial, industrial, military defense, and aerospace industries. We have noticed a decrease in individuals with experience in our field of services. Metal coating is a niche business with a small hiring pool of candidates.
The Work Experience Tryout (WET) Grant provided through RochesterWorks allowed us to give opportunities for gainful employment to individuals, such as Hayatulla, who did not have experience in our field.
The RochesterWorks Work Experience Tryout (WET) and On-the-Job Training (OJT) Grant Reimbursement Programs allowed our small company to recruit and train individuals with minimal financial impact compared to that which is normally associated with new hires.
