Join us for an information session to learn more about moving from surviving to thriving in your workplace!

About the Shift Program for Job Seekers

This program is for job seekers looking beyond just getting a new job to starting to build a better career and a brighter future. Participants in the program will receive help with identifying what they need in a job and work environment to feel more satisfied, learn to make better career choices to support short-and-long term goals, and managing challenges more effectively on the job.

The Shift Program is for Job Seekers facing any of these common employment challenges:

  • Jumping from job to job.
  • Working where you don’t feel appreciated.
  • Getting paid less than you deserve.
  • Doing work you dislike.

Who Should Attend the Shift Program for Job Seekers?

The program is designed to help those who have had jobs but struggle with keeping them for any reason. This program can help break that pattern and help job seekers find stability and success in their careers. The program is open to adult (18+) job seekers who live in Monroe County, NY, or last worked for an employer in Monroe County, NY.

Why Participate in the Shift Program for Job Seekers?

This program can help you address common employment challenges such as:

  • Finding a better fit with the work and the employer.
  • Earning higher pay and better benefits.

Along with a comprehensive and holistic approach, you will have a team to help you along the way–during the program, through your job search, and even for the first six months at your new job.
